At Noctem Invicta I believe that every author deserves to have a proofreader in their corner to help them find the errors that may have been overlooked or have arisen during the writing and editing process this far. Authors deserve to have a team supporting them in their publication goals and have their best interest at heart as well as their manuscript’s best interest.
My approach is that of someone with an intense love of words and who views books as some of my best friends. I look at your manuscript as your pride a joy and with an understanding that you need my help to make your manuscript shine so people like me can find the magic you’ve woven in your words.
Not every author wants to write prose or a full length novel. I proofread anthologies of short stories and poetry to check for flow, consistency and meter where necessary to polish the stories and poetry for publication or for a school project.
This is for those bloggers that spend all day, everyday working on blog posts and writing who need to take a break from looking at their own words. I read through and correct spelling errors, typos, punctuation and query pieces that don’t flow well with the rest of the post.
As a proofreader I am the last step before publication of your manuscript. I read through a minimum of twice before sending back to you with corrections to spelling, grammar, consistency and errors I find within the text itself.
